Environmental Science students and EARTH members on the dock at Quarry Hill Nature Center in Rochester.

Waste-to-Energy/Quarry Hill Field Trip
On January, 10, 2008, students from the environmental science class and members of EARTH had the opportunity to go to the Waste-to-Energy Facility in Rochester and see the impact that they have on the waste stream. In addition, they were able to see the array of items that can be recycled. Following the waste-to-energy plant, students finished the day at Quarry Hill Nature Center by learning how to band birds! A fun and educational experience was definitely had by all!
