About the program:
Family Consumer Science (FACS) isn't your typical homemaking classes that some usually think of. FACS is career and technical education. That means it not only prepares students to survive and succeed as adults but also prepares them for careers. Students acquire skills and knowledge that are essential for success after high school whether they choose higher education, to join the workforce, or the armed forces.
My classes this year include Foods I and II, Intro to FACS, Interior Design, and Middle School FACS.

My name is Cassidy Breer, I am the new FACS teacher at Triton. I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato where I majored in Family Consumer Science Education. I graduated from Rushford-Peterson High School in 2013, and am looking forward to returning to southeastern Minnesota. I am excited to begin my teaching career with the Triton School District.
Although I love all areas of Family Consumer Science, Child Development and Family Studies is my favorite. This interest stemmed from growing up in a large family. I have 2 older brothers and 3 older sisters, as well as one niece and one nephew.
