Hello from the Special Education Department!


I am the high school special education teacher. I teach children having Emotional/Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and ASD. I have been teaching at Triton High School since 2001 in my current position. Prior to that at Triton I taught grades 4-6 Reading and Language Arts, Triton Preschool and the 6th. grade. I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Winona State University and my Master's Degree in Special Education from The University of St. Thomas in December 2009. I am licensed in Elementary Education 1-6 and Special Education EBD/LD K-12. I have lived in the Dodge Center area for twenty plus years with my husband, Rod. Rod and I own French's Repair and Fabrication which is located at our home in rural Dodge Center. I am the mother of three children, Joe, Calli and Rick, and have a son-in-law Greg and two daughters-in law, Jes and Tasa. I have six beautiful grandchildren Corbin, Cale, Greta Elaine, Brayden, Taryn Rose, and Emma Grace (born on September 27, 2010). I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren. My hobbies include dirt track and NASCAR racing and I recently drove my first race car during hot laps!!
