• Facilitated the development of a district-wide strategic plan creation with district stakeholders
• Facilitated and implementation of the created district strategic plan within the organization
• Modernized business operations to include online technologies such as purchasing, human resources, security, budget and student management
• Created, with colleagues, relationships with community businesses to provide student internships and funding for programs
• Served as administrator on the University of Minnesota board of review for administrative licensure of superintendents and principals
• Collaborated closely with the Activities Director on project management of a $810,000 multi-use turf field. Project finished on-time and under budget
• Drove a district-wide literacy improvement plan, which led to the Board hiring a reading interventionist for the elementary school
• Worked with District office staff to hire Teachers on Call for substitute tracking and replacement, which allows us to be compliant with the ACA
• Worked with TEA & administration to develop, present and approve the teacher evaluation program to comply with the State statute. Co-presented the program with Mr. Bruce Huber, TEA President and receive 100% support for the program from the Union members

• Facilitated change to a modified block schedule that allows for 90 minute blocks to happen every three weeks so teachers can deliver longer instruction to students.
• Collaboratively worked with staff to change academic standards and graduation credits from 26 to 28. Expanded AP and advanced courses in all departments.
• Managed project with science staff to remodel and build science rooms with the most current technology available.
• Piloted responder system from einstruction® to allow science teachers to teach using state-of-the-art electronic clickers to assessment students in “real time.” Responders are now expanded to five classrooms.
• Developed a Professional Learning Community to advance math, reading and writing skills for all students
• Facilitated an improvement to Response to Intervention (RtI) program called Academic Resource Community (ARC) for students struggling with failure and lost credits. Data has show marked progress in both credit attainment and decrease of failing grades for students
• Worked with district administrators to develop and design a middle-school concept and help facilitate this into a 6-8 grade middle school and 9-12 grade high school in the fall of 2004.
• Manage and direct technology for the entire district. Expanded IBM and Macintosh networks: knowledge of Microsoft Windows networks and Mac OS X. Worked with consultants to create a WAN and make improvements to the T3 LAN. Knowledge of IBM and Macintosh computer platforms and OS. Experience with all of Microsoft Office Professional applications: word-processing, spreadsheet, communications and database software. Directed and facilitated improved communication both written and orally inside and outside of the District via the Internet, email and LAN.
• Lead the school toward on-line parent access to attendance and grade data in the high school. Consulted other schools with staff on helping them facilitate this new technology.
• Facilitated total automation of the high school office with student management software solutions (e.g. electronic grade book, student attendance and electronic transcripts
• Served as the acting Superintendent during my first year due to the medical leave of the seated Superintendent
• Served as Y2K for the District with all computer and control systems
• Wrote and received an IBM grant for three computer systems for a sum of $6,300
• Began School-to-Work relationships with McNeilus Companies Inc. and received $16,000 in kind grants. Worked on grant that gained $15,000 in State grants for School-to-Work projects.
• Worked with the Special Education Coordinator to accommodate and place IEP objectives to realistically achieve the passing result on State tests
• Created a site-based management team in order to promote the cooperative effort to achieve continuous improvement system-wide
• Designed and developed a new registration booklet and curriculum development in order to infuse the Higher Standards into the 7-12 curriculum
• Planned and facilitated an Academic Awards program for the community and school
• Scheduled modified block courses with the eight-period day structure
• Worked closely with staff to implement a positive, respectful student behavioral management program for the high school. Data indicates a dramatic decrease in reported incidents.

• Directed and developed a curriculum and testing procedure to ensure marked increases in the performance of the Minnesota State Basic Skills Test. Facilitated the statistical analysis from its administration to its remediation plan for all students who fail the minimum passing standard. Coordinated the report to the media to ensure that the results were valid and reliable. Worked with the Special Education Coordinator to accommodate and place IEP objectives to realistically achieve the passing result.

• Directed District-wide technology network project to connect to the Internet via T1 and Ethernet networking between two buildings for staff and students
