Hello there and welcome!

I would like to begin by telling you a little more about myself and the background I have as an artist, student, and teacher. I have a love for all mediums in the art world, I find myself dabbling in everything from knitting and painting to photography and welding. I obtained my Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) with an emphasis in Photography at Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2015. Since that time I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to teach art at a private Catholic college preparatory high school in Plymouth, MN. After two years I decided it was time yet again to hit the books, this time, however, was for my Master's degree. I obtained my Master of education and K-12 Visual Arts licensure through the University of Minnesota, which brings us to now my third year of teaching. When I am not busy teaching or creating art you are likely to find me out exploring the great landscape Minnesota has to offer.

I can not wait to get started and work with the amazing students, families, and community that calls Dodge Center home. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. My email is: jgandrud@triton.k12.mn.us
