Triton BPA

Triton High School’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter achieved exceptional success at the Minnesota Region 3 BPA Competition held on January 8 at Rochester Community and Technical College. The regional event included students from 10 southeastern Minnesota high schools, with more than 375 competitors participating.  Triton delivered a standout performance, earning 12 championships and advancing 28 students to the Minnesota BPA State Leadership Conference.

Business Professionals of America is a national career and technical student organization that prepares students for careers in business, finance, information technology, design and communications, health administration, and management through leadership development, community service, and competitive events.  Triton BPA members competed in a variety of individual and team events involving objective testing, presentations, interviews, and project-based challenges designed to mirror real-world business scenarios.

“I am incredibly proud of every Triton BPA student for both their performance and their professionalism, regardless of results. Our members invest countless hours learning new skills, developing projects, and preparing for their events, and their success at Region 3 is a reflection of that dedication.”

In addition to competition, Triton BPA students demonstrated a strong commitment to community service during the conference. Members participated in acts of service by writing cards to patients at Mayo Clinic and creating tie blankets for the Ronald McDonald House, reinforcing BPA’s emphasis on leadership, empathy, and civic responsibility.

Triton also had a strong leadership presence at the Region competition. Viktoriia Kundel and Hector Ibarra served as Minnesota Region 3 BPA Officers, helping to organize and run the opening and awards ceremonies as well as leading conference entertainment and engagement activities.

Students advancing from the regional competition will attend the State Leadership Conference in Minneapolis from March 5-7, 2026. Those succeeding at the State level will head to the National Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN from May 6-10, 2026.
