Every year the Minnesota State High School League sets out to recognize student-athletes who are exceptional in multiple different areas, and have many different skills. The MSHSL The Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award, commonly known as the Triple 'A' Award, honors high school seniors throughout the state who have a 3.0 or higher-grade point average and who participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.
Jude Gosse is a member of Triton Football, Basketball and Golf teams and has earned Academic All-State honors in golf and has participated in the Gopher Conference Honor Band. Jude has earned a Superior Contest rating as part of the Men’s Ensemble and Mixed Choir along with being voted best Actor in a Musical by for his performance of Mr. Warbucks in Annie. Jude was also a State Finalist in Podcast Creation for the Minnesota BPA competition.
In addition to those accomplishments, Jude is the President of the Triton High School Student Council and the Minnesota Honor Society of Triton High School. Jude is the Vice President of of the Triton Class of 2023, and is a member of SADD, Link Crew, and the Cobra Leadership Council.
Due to his participation in Academics, Arts, and Athletics Jude has been named the Region 1A Male Triple A Award winner, and will compete against 7 other Region winners for a $4,000 scholarship.
Jude will be recognized on March 16th at the Section 1 Class AA Boys Basketball section championship game. On Saturday, March 25 - All the "AAA" Winners from the 16 Regions will be recognized at the "AAA" Banquet at a downtown Minneapolis hotel and at the State BBB Finals at Target Center. The 4 winners; 2 from each Class will be announced at the banquet.
